Upgrade
your rear caliper
Words & pictures by Stig; with
additional forum information supplied by Rf9rider &
Rich.
Unfortunately
the upgrading of the rear caliper to matching bluespot
isn't a simple case of remove one and fit the other.
Both the above members upgraded their rear brakes and
findly enlightened us all into whats involved to make
the upgrade. Whether or not there's performance gains
to be had may be negligible, but the bling factor certainly
played a large part. |

Mark out the impact area and then
remove minimum amout of material...just enough
to make a clearance.
Easier if you have access to a Dremel or similar |

The upgrade is based on the Fazer100 due
it it having the same size rear disc as the
EXUP.
The front of the torque arm is secured to the
dogbone/swingarm mounting point. The spacer
may be needed to align depending on where you
site the hanger.
Rf9rider
& Rich
have both been good enough to provide the above
information.
Thanks guys! |
