tft dash project

Post by bunk »

Yes its a leap but i have to maintain my status on this site !

My latest purchase for my exup equipped fzs1000 fazer or as they are called over here the first gen FZ1. These bikes are quickly disappearing as their reputation is growing, They really are a excellent bike except for their gauges. For awhile the go to set-up with a little multigauge to go in place of the fuel gauge, but they are no longer sold and most like mine are failing. Thats where the tft dash project steps in. I wonder if they would work on a 1st gen R1, or if they are adaptable to other yams as pinouts should be easy to find.

Pretty fair pricing considering what it does. I got 2 weeks before its on my doorstep, hopefully.
90 fzr1k in black, 91 fzr1k parts bike, 05 fz1/fazer daily ride. Thats just the yams.

I've owned three of these and my son now uses my last one in London.
Love the Fazer FZS1000 'nearly' :D as much as the FZR1000.
Here's a link to a VERY useful site which has helped me with them over the years, I'm sure you'll find it quite useful too. Recommended!

Heck yeah thats a useful resource! It will be awhile before i can comment on the fzr vs fz1, hopefully the fzr doesn't tweak my back as quickly as my rgv does. Im lucky if i can get a hour on it.
