A ride out on Monday

Post by nugget »

I'm planning a ride out this coming Monday 27th June. The weather so far is looking good and I'm heading for Kirkby Lonsdale. (Devils Bridge) Then on to Hawes, Leyburn, Thirsk. If anybody wants to come along then feel free. I'm hoping to be there for about 12noon ish, but don't hold me to that.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Went to vote this morning. Then treated the missus to lunch . Came home and cut the grass. Then made her a planter for the garden out of wood. Power washed one of the wheelie bins that had been emptied yesterday. Told her to put her feet up while I walked the dogs. Scored 100 brownie points and got a blessing from the pope.

I mentioned in passing that I may go for a ride out on Monday if that's ok with you. Of course darling you've worked hard today. That's how you do it stiggy boy

Did I eckerslike. The weather first thing was crap. I did manage to get out for a short ride to Scarborough and the Seaways cafe at Fridaythorpe in the afternoon though.

I've just come in from having a ride to Withernsea and Hornsea. I didn't want to venture out to far because there's a lot of clouds about with big black bottoms on them. It's been a nice run out though.

Off out in the van on Sunday. Taking the missus to Leyburn for the week. Might even treat her and take her to the Manor bikers cafe at Bellerby near Leyburn. If she behaves I might give her one of my chips.
