My YZF 750 had a dynojet kit fitted about 3,000 miles ago, along with new tubes. It was set up on the rolling road, giving 114@rw.
The bike revs and pulls like a race bike, however most of my riding these days us just steady away.
I've just got back from touring around Scotland, about 1,300 miles in 4 days and the fuel consumption was really bad.
I was only getting about 110 miles before it went to reserve. This is riding at touring speeds and riding as economical as possible.
Would it benefit from removing the dynojet kit and returning it to standard?
Looking at the can, it must be running rich, as it is black.
YZF 750 dynojet to standard?

Fook me Gord....thought you had moved on...long time no post.
Anyhow.....no gain without pain.
You gained HP at the cost of fuel economy.
Revert back to std jetting but note down the DJ settings so you can revert
back if you don't like std power delivery.
Did you not SF your bike ?.....remember without the fairings the extra drag will account for extra fuel.

Yeah I street fightered it after a nasty smash 3yrs ago, cut a long story short I've been struggling to get back on a bike, save had a year or so out of it..
I've just got back from leading a 1,400 miles trip around Scotland and it has done me the world of good, lol.
The engine is sweet as a nut, and just flies, would I lose much by going back to standard?
What do I need to return it to standard? I'm clueless with carbs.

If you are just cruising you wont need the extra oomph.
Hanging on to a naked bike running fast is tiring anyhow.
DJ kits are usually needles and main jet...depending what stage you used.
Why not treat yourself and get it redone where you originally used.
Someone.....pointing no fingers.....should have kept the parts that were replaced when the DJ kit was used.
The tubes will remain if std YAM were used ; if DJ tubes were used.....see
STIG ...they are same as his stock.
