Micro alert alarm

I've just gone and bought myself one of these micro alert alarms for the garage. :nod:

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get it to set the alarm to go off on the motion setting. It will only set the alarm off if I actually move the device. Try as I may with the different permatations and the instructions, it wont do what it says it should. :mad: Am I doing something wrong?? :retard:

Does anybody on here have one of these in their garage? If so please tell me how to set it on the motion setting. I've got a lousy headache with it going off all the time when I pick it up. :mad: :mad:

Good thought Stig. I don't think it would fit in for all of those old style large five pound notes that they used to print in the early 1900's :lol: :lol:

I am sitting here in the hospital waiting to see my hernia specialist and thought it would be a good idea to have a look on my favourite forum. I have to ask "is it hate roadrunner week again already?"The I think I will use the other forum in the future. :eek:

It's all that loose change he robbed off that tramp in Lincoln. He's been carrying it about with him since, so there's no wonder he's got a hernia :lol: :p

Daves right John, as you said its a motion sensor not a lazer beam sensor so it wont pick up anything walking near it, but if you move the actual thing then its going to go off, so I don't think it will mind you running around naked in the garage screaming at it like you normally on a night :nod: :nod: :nod:

I get what you're saying lads but... Well the thing is I saw these advertised in the Motorcycle news recently. They did a section on how to deter bike theives etc. They discribed it as a "motion detector". Now to me that means it detects things that move past it. :retard: I now see how its supposed to work and it's now in the garage doing it's job. Come and try it out Karl and then I can set my vicious dog on to you. Image :lol: :lol:
