you could keep it, and get some clear perplex and make a window so it would show the clutch running,
just an idea

On my similar cover, I removed that 'YAMAHA' outer cover, made up some blanking plugs & reused what had been a damaged item

Or you could cut the round centre part out, and put a clock in it.
Would look good on the garage wall.

looks like a clock would be best. Doesn't look like it'd show the clutch working. Off to cut the middle out when I can and find a clock to fit.
