Breaks and bends

Post by Vagabond »

Frontal damage from hitting the car, rear damage from cart wheeling down road. Left leg mashed and right wrist dislocated and broken, hasn't healed properly, sometimes locks - at full throttle! :D

It's ok, was only a CBR1000FP.

Do you know how crazy it feels to wake up in a hospital and you ask the nurses the name of the hospital and they say 'North Allerton' and you say 'WHERE?' and then you realise you're in a different country and the only clothes you had have just been cut off! It was ok, the nurses werenice :D

Bloody hell mate,

Now that brings things into perspective for ya.
I have a wee motto I ride to. . .

"Ride like everyone else on the road is trying to kill you"

Actually Vagabond, I think it may be a good idea to have something like this on the main website, when it goes up, just as a sort of sobering thought to remind us all to be a bit vigilant out there. Would that be ok with you?

No problem, do with the pics what you want.

My motto now is 'don't ride faster than your Guardian Angel can fly'

I was only going 55-60 mph, luckily I landed in a field, so many people get killed or injured when they get knowcked off and hit walls and posts etc.

here is another pic

Check out the front forks sheared in half

Tank thankfully was damaged by luggage, I think (as I say in a high pitched voice)
