I'd a set of tyre pressure indicator types on until some scum sucker stole them...
had fancy alloy caps on a bike once and due to galvanic corrosion (i think it's called Gav can correct me) they bonded together and had to get the valve replaced - all for wanting to check the tyre pressure.

Yep that happened to me to Vagabond .........
so now i just have s/steel caps and two spare black plastic ones .........
as for plastic and his glow in the dark caps
must be a streetfighter thing

had alloy ones on mine
& was wondering why my rear kept slowly going down
i keep checking for puncture's but found nothing
I'm going plastic now

I'm doing something wrong here.
I've had alloy caps on for about 12 months now with no problems. Mine have a brass insert inside the alloy cap which screws to the valve. Bit of copper grease to stop them seizing on valve only trouble so far. At next meet peeps can have a lookie at tyre caps if they not happy with my answer.
