Thinking about this, yes it does hurt , the bike will have a pear drop outline when viewed from above. So from a slip stream point of view, it should be quicker through the air than it was originally. But is it going to be any more comfortable? Those Ace seats are nice and wide but they are very comfortable for long distances. YZF750 seat same can't be said for that. Just a thought.

Already thought of the seat issue.
I don`t do long distance anymore.
And i`m having the 750 seat altered, more padding in it.
The Ace seat won`t fit, its too wide, and has too much plastic underneath to fit the 750 subframe, looked at cutting it to fit, but gave up on that idea.
Time for an update.
Been busy wallpapering the bedroom, thats finished so on to the important stuff
Finished off the undertray, got another YZF750 one, plastic welded that to the Ace battery tray (again) as the Ace CDI and a relay fit on the front.
Had to move the fuse box and starter relay, and reroute some of the wiring.
And finally for today, everythings fitted up, still have a couple of problems, shock reservoir won`t fit on original fixing point as battery box is in the way, just going to fix it to subframe with jubilee clips until i get a new Hagon shock with no reservoir, that will sort that one out.
Coolant overflow bottle is still catching on battery box, so now the seat unit is really tight up against it, might have to think about moving it or getting a smaller sized battery
Just waiting for some proper size bolts for fixing the subframes, and have to order a new rear brake reservoir mounting bracket.
Also have to wire in the number plate light, then almost done apart from spraying the seat unit.
Heres the latest................
Got the rear reservoir bracket fitted (cheers Chris), and made myself a exhaust hanger bracket from 2mm ally plate.
Needs a little tidying and reshaping, but does the job for now.
Sorted the shock reservoir for now, fitted the original bracket on the underside of the subframe, looks ok, but will only see if it catches the front part of chain guard hugger after its been ridden.
