I don`t know if its a keeper, i haven`t ridden it yet!
I did ride my bro in laws ace a few years ago, and seemed ok.
I wanted something a bit more comfortable than my YZF750, used to kill my back and wrists, though i am getting on a bit.
I also looked at the Fiat Yamaha paint job, but i just couldn`t bring myself to have a Fiat logo on a bike.
Plus this lot on here would have a field day removing the I fom the Fiat logo

Too right mate, but trying to do the bike on a budget, new can is last on the list.Yoda wrote:Looking good. But you need another end can.
Ive spent more money on the paint than i first reckoned, so trying to get it roadworthy first.
I do have a carbon can that came with the bike, but its from a Fireblade so the mounting holes on the headers needs filing out a little, plus it needs a hanger strap, don`t even know what make it is, it does look a loud one though, not much inside it!
By the way, do you have a spare can? Just wondered.............

Well Chaps, another disaster..........in a good way.
After all the effort i did with the front left panel, i managed to get a decent one last night.
Not much to report as i`m waiting for various bits to arrive, and i`m collecting some stuff Sunday night from Dover while i`m down there delivering for work.
Todays jobs are to change the oil and filter and change the anti freeze, and to fit another left hand front hanger that arrived.
Going to remove the rear bungee frame brackets, remove the rear footrests and make up some kind of exhaust hanger bracket.
No pics to bore you all with this weekend, as Mrs RF9 has taken my camera to Mugello.

Nope no cans left now. Drunk them all. Seriously, Lee sold my standard drain pipe on ebay t'other day, and the Ixil carbon one I sold with my old downpipes as a package. Sometimes get some cheap ones come up on ebay.de. I got the Ixil one off evil bay during summer months when bits seem cheaper. Hanging strap a local Yam dealer sorted, it was off a R1.
