can't understand the mentality of folk who pay good money for a smart bike and then do that to it
may as well throw your hard earned out into the street
certainly looks a simple fix tho' ...just a bit of time and patience

I didn't fall off... it was a previous owner

It looks to have seen some salt judging by the state of the alloy,

Right, the bab slept long enough this afternoon for me to get the spanners out.
What a f'kin mess in there... I've broken beter bikes than this
The loom's a mess with that alarm on it. I've probably got a full one in the loft somewhere.
I've pulled it down to frame/engine/swinger/yokes. The rest of it's in a box.
This is going to be a complete stripdown and see what parts I've got in the attic to replace the stuff that need to be junked.
The carbon frame guards are gone. They were glued on with silicone, so I've nitromors'ed the frame and I'll get the polishing kit on it.
As I'm this far in I might as well have the motor out and do the shims... only 5 bolts left to do
.

Motor was fully stripped, and I mean fully stripped, I saw all the bits in a box, at 24,000 miles. Valves done, etc.
