Excellent shot of Gardner, I used to have a rep lid of his, actually I've still got it, but it's too old to use now. :crybaby:

Was lucky to get a pit padock pass for the !st Phillip nIsland GP in 1989,

Which if you remember was won by WG, he also won the 90 GP in what was a great race, (fairings flapping around after almost highsiding, and won from a fair way back,

Here is a pic of the best looking bike in GP, riden bt Randy Mamola

I'm in my late 30's also, so grew up on big bore superbikes riden by guys like Neial McKensie, Robert Holden, WG and others. 500 GP got a lot of attention here with Gardner started winning, and we got it on TV, so then started watching Lawson, Schwants, Sarron, ect

He only used the rear wheel coz the front was in the air all the time.Saw him at Donnington way back...talk about play to the crowd :D

I'll dig a pic out of him wheeling the length of the straight if I can find it :cool:
