Its a bit like the EXUP, you hardly ever see a completely standard one this far down the line.
Agreed things do look well modded but look what a bog standard 350LC fetches now
I watched a std twincam go for 10K on ebay just after xmas
looked identical to dads including colour scheme, but that had 107K on the clock

Sometimes it's the memories that make you keep summat like the Toyota and the Triumph, I for one would not part with something that had so many sweet memories.
Good on ya guys, I had to sell mine as moving here to Aus I couldn't afford to bring em! still regret selling em! lost forever me thinks.

I'm currently trying to source the few necessary/ totally unnecessary bits for the car that need replacing
Unbelievably its the strangest things that you can't get anymore
WTF, can't get sunvisors for the interior ...I mean its not like someone had a spate of nicking them all and 2000 owners had to replace them....surely Toyota made SOME spares
The ones in the car are deformed due to mum attaching another visor extention to the bottoms via some sort of tie system They're all squashed up

Just an update for those who's bothered.
I got all the bits I needed and even found a good body man that will use lead instaed of filler for the few bits of bodywork that need doing right. He's done stuff to concours class stds
I just gotta find time to strip her back so he can see whats needed
