Fair weather biker? you betcha!Joker wrote:Fair weather bikermonkey wrote:Didn't get to test ride it due to monsoon conditions yesterdaymonkey wrote: will report on the DG8 once it's fitted... have a good weekend all!
When i fitted mine (not plug & play) i had to calibrate the gears.Took me including fitting about 20mins Well worth it
Joker - I still had the calibrate the gears on mine too, that's no different.
The only difference the plug & play version makes is you don't have to cut & solder into the bike's loom
If you took 20mins to fit yours then you must be bloody handy with a soldering iron good skills mate

well it looks like spring may finally be sprung so I am hoping to get out for a spin or two over the weekend & test the gear indicator [& my memory of how to ride ]
so providing my heart survives the forgotten terror of a hard-accelerating R1 then I shall report on monday...
have a good weekend all

[well done Stoner, how feckin fast is that Ducati in a straight line? and nice work Rossi and where was Hayden? last year's news ]
1. what an absolutely feckin' brilliant bit of kit
Kicking myself for not fitting one sooner
2. why oh why don't manufacturers fit 'em as standard? [BMW & Suzuki aside]
