As most of you lot already know we are currently organising a full blown website to run in conjunction with the forum. . . eventually.
Anyhoot, one of the items we'd like to have on there is a Rated and Reviewed section. Sure you can read stuff in mags and the like but that's a set up test during just a couple of hours or so, what we'd like to do is have the real skinny from the real blokes on bikes.
You could review anything from thermal socks to your new full Akrapovich race system, and eventually we'll cream them off and give you your own little bit of fame on the website by giving you full credit for the review. Sound good?
Okie dokes, since I'm here I might as well go first, sit tight and prepare to be babbled at. . .
IRS brake and clutch levers.
These things are art in motion, superbly machined and beautiful to look at, as you can see from the pics posted in the Rogues Gallery.
An absolute doddle to fit and a good bit lighter than the original equipment.
The pull on both levers is constant and a faultless flow, no stuttering or jerking at all. They pull with a constant pressure and feel utterly second nature as you ride, you almost forget they're there. Suffering from a little arthritis in my hands these things have serously reduced my discomfort while riding, a very nice bonus. I always felt very uncomfortable before using just two fingers on the brake lever. . . not any more, using more then two fingers now seems excessive.
And at a good chunk less than the cost of the usual Brembos or AP Racing gear you really can't lose. And all delivered direct to your door from the P3 Unlimited website. www.p3unlimited.com
The only gripe I have about these things is that I don't have anything to gripe about with these things.
Out of 10? . . . Seriously, these things deserve a 10.
