Hands up all those who thought it would be a great idea if I had measured to ensure my V-MaX would fit in my shed?
:D

OH MY GOD! How cool is VBoost?

It apparently pisses off the following:

Porsche 911 drivers
Imprezza drivers
Golf GTI drivers
Crossfire drivers
Busa riders
Blade riders
GSXR1100 riders

Obviously only until the first bend :D

Oh - And a couple of my neighbours at 8:45 this morning :D

It's another cunning Yamaha device, basically there is a gate between the carbs and cylinders that operates at 4500 rpm+ (I think), so then each cylinder is fed by 2 carbs instead of just one. Supposed to elimate the dead time between the strokes or summat, when the carb would effectively be doing nothing - now it feeds another cylinder :unibrow: Something like that anyway, am sure Plastic can explain it a bit better :D

Spot on Stu, but it's 6000rpm

I was on the motorway doing 85 at 5500 revs yesterday, twisted the throttle a touch and I thought the clutch was slipping - Looked at the speedo and I was doing over a ton :D

Remember the powerband of a RD500?

Imagine that scaled up for a 1200cc V4 :D

I'm not sure it's a "winter bike", but it's definately a summer one - If you are insured to ride anything that's not yours Stu, you are most welcome to come round to mine and take it for a spin

Stu you got any more space in that garage? You'd never fit it in with all those other things in there. :unibrow: :D Plastic you do realise that you'll be walking round like a gorilla soon, V-max riders are always easy to spot, just look for the Mike Tyson neck muscles and the elongated arms. :unibrow: :D
