Before you start messing around with resistors, are you sure you have the correct bulbs?
I had this problem on my RF900, turns out the bulbs were the wrong wattage.
Don't be too hard on yourself Malc - I manage to skin my knuckles whenever I go near spanners or ratchets. Most recently, when adjutsing the tensioners for the chain. Hmmm, little tight this one, I'll just apply a bit more pressure, a bit more, little bit more, <nut loosens, hand hits rear sprocket, cue a bout of swearing>
cheers m8 but i i gonna get it done as you know you feel good when you do it yourself ........ just takes me forever even the likkle jobs ...... but we can't be good at everything
