Rear brake caliper Cerakoted.

Post by nugget »

I'm putting this on here again, because for some strange reason it all disappeared, photos and all.

Over the winter months, I had my rear brake caliper, and caliper holder cerakoted by a chap down in Hove. The caliper was looking a bit worse for wear, due to the brake fluid peeling some of the paint off. I've been told that this cerakote is 100% brake fluid and chip proof, so far it seems to be true, because I've ridden through quite a few loose chippings this year, and there's no sign of any chips as yet. Fitted all new seals etc. I already had the stainless steel pistons fitted.

Here's a few photo's of his handywork.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
