First ride out this year.

Arrange to meet up to chew the fat, or enjoy a bimble through the twisties.

First ride out this year.

Post by nugget »

After having a few teething problems with a dodgy wire in the ignition block, that stopped my rear lights, and my side light\parking light from not working, and a faulty fan switch. I managed to get out for the first time this year.

I had a ride up to the Seaway's cafe at fridaythorpe. I parked next to a smart looking Suzuki GT380. Back in the day, I had one of those, and it was the same colour as this one. I had a lot of fun on it too.

After a cup of coffee, I decided to pop down to the Sherburn Milk bar. If the bike hadn't have been playing up, I could've gone to Sherburn a week earlier and met up with Dangerous Dave and his wingman. Next time Dave. :) Dangerous Dave is on the left.

From Sherburn it was home time, but managed to do a nice 100 mile round trip.

Here's a few photos.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Glad you finally got it sorted and hope you managed to blast the cob webs off 👍

I’ll have to take a look at my carbs and meet up some time :shades:

I blew the cobwebs off, but only very gently. I was a bit rusty for the first 10 mile or so, but it soon comes back.

Will you be whipping the carbs off, to give them a good clean out? :)
