Had a ride out yesterday, to get over the 100,000 mark. I had one mile to go, and I ended up in the middle of Scarborough in a queue of traffic due to road works, and I was unable to stop to take photos of the change over. I had to pull in to a housing estate which was a Cul-de Sac (a small one at that) to do the last mile. It was quite funny really, because there was a chap doing some gardening, and I went passed in four times, and everytime I went passed he gave me a suspicious look. I eventually got to the 99,999 - 00,000 and then went back out on to the main road, and went the other way to get the first 1 mile on the clock. I don't think I'll be around to do it again at my age.
I forgot to add. I bought this bike back in 1997, and it had 18,349 miles on the clock, so in total I've done 81,650 miles.
Here's some photo's of the mileage change over, and a few recent photo's of the old girl.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
