Manual Cam chain tensioner procedure

Post by MontePete »

Greetings, has anyone here installed a manual cam chain tensioner on an FZR1000? I am thinking about going with PSR on my 1990
Their instructions seem generic and mention blocking off the automatic tensioner oil feed line?

I am looking for the steps involved if anyone has done it please.

Thanks,

Pete.

Modifying your engine is wrought with pitfalls, if the website doesnt know that the original is a sprung rack design, I wouldn’t trust it.

Fit an original YZF750 one, they rev higher so must be better? I have one on my 1070 EXUP it it works just fine 👍
