See, I do still have my bike :shades: ,,,, no, not the pink pushbike. That’s the grand daughters :silenced:
There’s even the new back tyre there ready to be fitted ( hopefully it’s not perished )
Eh?

The bike and tyre to which you are referring appear to have been stolen.

I see no bike or rear tyre apart from the already mentioned pink one. Apparently that's your 'Grand Daughter's.

Or am I missing something?

Yours, Confused of Gloucester.

My lads car should be finished in the next month so I might even get the bike on the lift over winter and get it recomissioned and tyre fitted

Hi Stig,

Thank you for the clarification. Looking at the photograph again, it's obvious.

Hope the recommissioning goes smoothly for you, and you're back on the road in '25.

What is your lads car and what has he been doing to it?

Yours, Less confused of Gloucester.

I think I've said this statement before... Steptoe's yard looks tidier than your garage.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

It’s actually getting better art this stage as parts are going back on

Nick,
The cars a BMW 330D. It got vandalised last October. He was always going to take it off the road over winter to rebuild all the rear suspension (powder coat everything, new bushes and seals etc….which has now been done) but it’s also had a full respray due to the damage. He’s just about got it all sorted ready for the road again so I should get my garage back.

I’ve actually missed riding the bike this year so there’s hope for me yet

Bloomin' vandals. Thanks for the info Stig. The 330D is a nice car, very nippy if I remember correctly.
I'd be interested in a photo when she's done.

From what I have read you're long overdue for getting back on two wheels. If you're anything like me you'll be cursing yourself after your first ride that you didn't do it sooner.

Nice to see you posting. I hope this current upswing in posting continues.

I’m on the site daily, even before the forum was sorted. Still bits to do regarding appearance etc but it’s getting there. Reminds me, must chase up Danny our new host provider to sort access to files and replace forum buttons :poke:

Nice to see someone posting. It's been a bit quiet on the Boards lately.

Anyway, Welcome Back. We've never spoken , but I see you are a founder member with nearly 19 years in. I joined in November 2022, principally for advice and parts as I was recommissioning my 89/90 Exup after 14 years of not turning a wheel. I can't be accurate about the year as it was a stolen/recovered vehicle with a 'Q' plate. Not anymore though as Chris (Creedxup) sold me a frame/V5 and she now proudly wears an 'H' plate. I should really post a photograph, but i'm not big on taking them.

Are you still biking, if so , on what?

I expect plenty of replies for a long serving member, so hopefully the boards will come back to life.

Hello Nick, my pleasure to be of service 👍
