Testing testing.
Testing testing.
:tI’m very rusty on here Stig. It’s been a long time, and I hope I find my way around this new site again. I’m having a play with it.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
Re: Testing testing.
Hi John,
I'm confused. Are you talking about the site, or have I just eavesdropped on a very private, euphemistic conversation?
Joking aside, great to see that the site is up and running again. I only found out by pure chance, whilst searching on the 'net for Exup stuff. Does anyone else know?
Do you still have your fabulous Exup?
Kind regards to you and yours
Nick.

Re: Testing testing.
Hello Nick.
I’ve been stig’s Guinea pig. We’ve been going through a few things with testing things out etc with the site. Still finding my way around it via my mobile phone.
I still have my exup. I’ve been out on the old girl today. I had a ride around the North Yorkshire Moors, then ended up in Whitby.
I was going to try and add a photo, but I haven’t worked out how to do that yet. Bear with me.

Re: Testing testing.
This is great news & well done to all involved to get us back online!

Re: Testing testing.
Yes we can - that's ace.
Here's my EXUP ready for the Manx GP if I dare take it. The hip angle kills me, but the TT bubble has really helped the airflow so riding is improved..
Rack for a tail pack to be bungeed on for luggage duties and a roll bag can go on the pillion seat to get more stuff over.

Well done Marky.
I’m still experimenting with photos, so you’re doing well.
Can you see this photo of mine?

Re: Testing testing.
Your bike looks great. Is it running as well as it looks?
Re: Testing testing.
Thanks & yes, it runs perfectly although it does not like standing still for months on end and requires a carb jets clean out if left over a few months every time. I am now a dab hand at getting the carbs off & the jets out for a clean out & check the balance every time.
The seating position is just such a killer for me & reminds me of my FZR600 as a youngster..
The motor is such a lovey smooth lump with an amazing turn of speed..
Re: Testing testing.
Use fuel stabiliser when it’s stood
Believe me, it works

Re: Testing testing.
I did have some in previously, but didn't help much or not enough to stop the carbs needing sorting.
I cannot bring myself to let it go & will (if it doesn't go to the Classic TT this year) drain the fuel system completely and just leave it. The tank is lined so that'll be it sat for years again probably.
Clutch also was seized, but unseized itself after a few attempts. Has a new clutch pack from 2 years ago when I recommissioned it.
