2 stroke weekend

Post by nugget »

I'm a bit late with this post but this was last Saturday at the Sherburn coffee bar.

The most photographed bike there was the Kawasaki 350 5 cylinder.

It wasn't as full as it usually gets, because one half went up to Seaways and the other half came to Sherburn.
It did make it a bit easier to walk around the bikes with it not being packed to the gunnels. :D

Here's a few photos

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Some excellent bikes. I have to get to one of these meets one day. Please don't accuse me of blasphemy when I mention - how rare to see a used Honda NR 750 - the history of the development of the power unit is incredible - the prototype was shelved for some years as they didn't have an adequate rolling chassis to cope with the power, it revved out to 20,000 rpm.
Well I'll be .....

It was like smelling Old Spice, Hai Karate, Brut and Aramis all at once.👃 😂👍

Wow, great pictures. Some of my all time favourites there, Have owned a few of them as well back in the day including an RD250, KH250, and many more strokers I wouldnt fit on these days, except my old GT750 Kettle. But my favourite was my last of the line 1989 RG500. These are worth a fortune now!!

FANTASTIC Nuggitt, RD400 all the way for me, cut me teeth (and much more) racing on them in the late 70's early 80's.
Just Wow
