Post by YZF1000R-SPRINT »

Hey up, The pickup coil on my Thunderace engine is stuck in fast and I need this out cos the cuffing wire has snapped.
Previously they just sort of pulled out but this bugger is stuck in fast
Any ideas?

Rotate it around a bit by tapping the part the bolt goes through, then you should be able to wiggle it out by alternately pulling the bolt hole side then the wire side.

Mnaged to get this out, the only way was to insert a wood screw into it and pull (very hard) with a pair of mole grips.

The wire had snapped anyway so I wasnt bothered how this came out.

I've never had one stuck in like this, they normally just sort of wiggle out as you say
