The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.
I've just found an 89/90 EXUP servo in a box of bits, which is in pretty good condition but I'd like to test it before I offer it up for sale (my EXUP has a Peter Gibson 4-2-1 so the servo is of no use to me).
I've searched everywhere but I can't find any info anywhere on the servo, where I'm assuming one wire is ground, one is 12vdc to open, another 12vdc to close, with the remaining two cores to give a resistance relative to the servo position.
Does anyone have the wiring details and output resistances?
Two wires are 0v &12vdc, powered in one direction to open and the opposing direction to close, with the remaining three cores to give a potentiometer (0v/OP/5v) output for the servo position.
Thanks for that but it's no use to me as the servo plug has been removed from my CDI.
I've found the connections for an early R1 so I'll check to see if the wire colours are the same.
