And how many small rodents flew out of your tail pipe when you fired up?
Now you have to use it!
And write a feature on how to recommission a neglected Exup.

Seriously though (who me?) Looks like you are staying positive and looking forward to summer.

Best Paul, and any others who clock in here.
Keep on keepin' on.

It nice to see the old girl again after its long hibernation. 😊 Even better news that she started on the first go. 👍
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Excellent. I wish mine was the same.
I parked it in November running fine and went to start it a few weeks ago and cant get it to run. It fires up then dies straight away. I have run the onboard diagnostics and it will not perform half of the tests. there are 2 fault codes that point to temp sensors but when tested they are fine. It seems the main problem is the fuel pump and injectors not working. All wiring has been checked out and is fine, the fuel pump runs with direct power to it but the bike will not go.
I can only think that the ECU is buggered and as the ignition has an immobiler built in that is registered to the ECU the ECU cannot be swapped for another one.

First world problems with modern bikes. The Exup is rather like a Citroen 2CV. You need four tools to fix anything. 8mm socket, 10mm socket, a screwdriver and a rubber mallett.

I had some real gremlins in my GSXR750 (Intel not inside). Even experts could not track down an electro-fuel problem. In the end I fitted a new battery and rode the tits off it down to the south of France.
Keep on keepin' on.

This was supposed to be my last bike that I was going to keep until I didnt want to ride anymore. I have had this for 13 years. Im pissed off as I will probably have to break it for parts and that will be the end after 31 years.
