Well trying to be positive, at least it shouldn't require any more new parts, so will try that next, thanks guys. It has been a learning experience doing this, most of all I have learned that I hate working on my own vehicles! Though going to have to convince Mrs Nismo to help again, not enough room in there to get my big meathooks in to undo the clamps on the carb rubbers. At least my Haynes manual has turned up now so got a bit of reference material instead of doing it blind again.nuggitt wrote:I too am thinking the same as Stig.
