Exup valves, who'd have em?

Post by Stig »

Seems like everyone these days

Feast you eyes on the later version fitted to R1's. It appears that these seize too if not maintained correctly..... especially all the bolts!!!!

Currently checking to see if I can use any of the bits for the earlier models 👍

I never new the newer version's had two valves fitted. Learn something new every day.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Separate flap for each pipe. Two valves with 2 flaps on each

Luckily this type of valve was only on one of the models of R1s (the 5PW I think) and not them all.
My 5VY (04-06) and my wifes 4C8 (07-08) both have valves very similar to the FZR valve.
The models after these I dont think have an exup valve at all.
