Unable to recognise smaller 'o' ring arrowed.
I know all the others.
Must be an age thing

No, from what I've already seen, that's the thinner of the two large rings.
The thicker of the two large rings is the float holder ring while the thicker 'small' ring is the one that sits at the top of the carb under the cap.

I'd found the 'o' ring on the pilot air screw, same as in #5 of your pics.
But I'm still unsure, as can be seen in my pic here, 'cos the supplied unidentified ring appears too big. All the others are fine.
Can't seem to bring up the tech data site at present, but I do recall seeing an 'o' ring shown with the main jet on the carb diagram, but I ain't physically seen a ring around any main jet so far.
I've always got bits and bobs left over after any work I do, so reckon the unidentified rings are gonna be the ones left over.
I'm stumped too, but will try without.
They're too big to physically fit into the pilot screw orifice without twisting.
Maybe bad manufacture process?
Or maybe just me - ain't got a clue!

If I remember correctly I also found those O rings too big and just refitted the old ones. I seem to remember that they fit against a sort of brass? dished washer. Anyway I never had any issues after refitting them.

your main jet is supposed to face up to a square-profile rubber o-ring to give a proper seal...they degrade with time and are normally either removed with a pick, or left to rot into the recess it sits in.
i dont think your spare o ring is a replacement for this one, maybe its a superfluous one, my guess would be maybe some models came with a modified float bowl to take a carb heater circuit and its the o-ring for that??? pure guesswork, ive never seen a fzr1000 with a carb heater.

not only does it have the washer and o-ring for the pilot jet needle, but it also has the square rubbers for the main jet.
blair/maelstrom/lite-tek (he goes by many names) makes really good kits, never had a single problem with any of them that ive bought, and ive bought a few

Having seen these new seal kits. It's inspired me to think about refurbishing a spare set of carbs I've had in a box for years. That'll be a nice little job for next winter. Cheers Banner lad.
