Hi all I have recently got an 89 FZR. I wanted to change oil and filter, when I took the filter off according to the Yamaha work shop manual diagram, it shows a washer between the filter and the spring to the front end of the housing, it's the washer number 6 in the picture,mine didn't have one or if it did I didn't notice it but I was careful when taking the old filter out . Will this affect the lubrication system or is it ok to not have the washer? any idea of where I can get a new one if needed?
