Quick question- can anyone tell me if the standard dogbones are stainless?

Cheers.

A quick answer. No. :D
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

If you want stainless give me a shout. I sell them on EBay but can offer free Uk mainland postage if sold here

Mine are stainless already which I thought probably wasn't standard (as you've both very kindly confirmed).

I stripped the back-end just to see what state it was in and found the swinging arm bearings had collapsed and just about everything else was seized :(

I'm replacing all bearings and seals including the swinging arm centre tube as that was also shagged and have a shock from an MT07 to go in, so will see how that works.

Dogbones are 155mm between centres- you wouldn't happen to know what the standard ones are?

Ta!

Cheers Stig. The MT07 shock is a bit shorter than standard so will see what the ride height looks like once it's back together.
