Problem with projects is that you very rarely get back what's gone into them
Ultimately it's only worth what someone's willing to pay but due to it being tailored to your desires you'll need someone after something similar to be in the market at the right time AND have the spare cash available. All that limits the amount of available buyers

Here's a prime example. I thought it was mint but it has a few chips on the tank edging and the right hand mirror is scratched. Does look rather well though. I can't believe its had 11 owners.

Must say though I am completely gobsmacked that someone paid that amount for your bike, someone must really like yellow.
