Carbs were grainy inside, and found fitted main jets 143's, and a flat stubby needle..ive Googled the needles and they look like a dynojet kit..anyway, needle was set at middle position. My plugs were fouled black aswell, so running rich.
Ive adjusted needle lower by 2 steps, making it leaner,and re set my fuel air mix to 2.5.(they were all over the place). Running k/n filter and a stubby..
Just took her back out and she is running a lot better, very very slight bogging in 2nd but no where near as bad..
Should i lower my needle to lowest setting for even leaner running, as she's still slightly hesitant when throttle is cranked open in 2nd..
If you wind her up normally,, she goes like a bloody rocket in overdrive
