Early R1 info needed

Could anyone with either 4vx or 5jj model please measure diameter of pipes for exhaust header

Hi Paul, 1st time on here in ages and saw this post,
Here goes , the OD at just before the head flanges on my 4xv are 35mm.
Hope this helps ya.

I have a set of headers that are being refurbed I had doubts on their fitment as the pipes are a fair bit
narrower than on the EXUP 1000

Im sure I heard somewhere that they can be made to fit, Think you may have to spread the pipes out a bit, ATB .

Poss they could fit but they're nearly 4mm less in diameter than the FZR items. Don't know what sort of impact that would have on performance
