Average speed camera's in my area.

Post by nugget »

I had a ride to see Mike today (roadrunner) and I noticed on the Beverley to Hull bypass that they are erecting average speed camera's.

You East Yorkshire chapter lads (Roadrunner, Fatdog, Karl and Tony) may already have seen them but I thought I'd bring it to your attention just in case. If you had seen them why didn't you tell me ya swines   :p

Be careful lad, especially you Mike because I know you like to bat on a bit down there. Once an hooligan always an hooligan

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

It's been in the local news a lot.
The cameras will cover from the start of the bypass at Kingswood all the way up to Shiptonthorpe (16 miles)
Apparently they are to stop `camera surfing' (speeding between cameras and slowing down at the camera locations) - but wasn't that always going to be the case with speed cameras.
It's just more taxing of the working masses!!
