The driver of the Peugeot and his wife were more shook up than Mike was. They thought they were witnessing a fatal road crash with dire consequences. Mikes been very lucky to come away with a few aches and pains.Pitbull wrote:Glad he's ok, also at least the guys in the Peugeot helped.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

HI Paul. Sorry to say the pictures don't lie, it's as bad as it looks and probably worse when I get a chance to have a good look at it. It might be better to put up a list of what's still serviceable to be honest But thanks for the offer, you're a true gent.Stig wrote:Nooo.
Glad he's ok. Hope the bike looks worse than it is
I have a decent rear subframe if it's needed. Put up a list of parts n I'll have a trawl in my spares box

Just to prove I've still got my sense of humour nuggitt, it don't get any more dire than fatal, my old matenuggitt wrote:The driver of the Peugeot and his wife were more shook up than Mike was. Well chaps, I've got to say a big thank you for all the kind words and best wishes. Oh, and thanks for the phone calls too
Without going into too much detail on here about the events leading up to my prang, suffice to say, the road surface was as nuggitt indicated, in that it was pretty poor at best, that and a light sprinkling of corn? seed did it for me I think
The bike's very bad and needs frame, swinging arm (that's what we oldies used to call 'em ) Forks and God knows what else
I have another exup here, I got as a project but it now looks like it's fate is sealed. When I finally get my mojo back I may need to ask if members on here would be able to help with any obscure parts I may me stuck for.
I have weathered slightly better than the bike did, with suspected cracked / broken rib/s on my left side, pain on the riight side of my rib cage, sore neck, both sides, some sort of damage to my right foot, left knee that gives way now and then, pains in right shoulder and pain in both upper arms. Oh, and a very sore left elbow. Apart from these minor ailments I think I'm not too bad, all things considered

As the great George Cole of the classic TV comedy, Minder would say, Very droll Will, very droll........
Have a heart Will, don't make me laugh....... It hurts too much
