You must have machined quite a lot off of it to fit it in the frame!

The R1 swingarm is much longer than the FZR, like 10 cm's or so. Not what you want unless you're going dragracing. YZF 750 swingarm will fit FZR's from 89 onward. Even the shocks are basically the same.
