Post by EXUPNutter »

My 1st Post here.

Here is the build of my RU track bike.

As Bought

Then after replacing the bent forks, fitting the blue spots and stripping all the bodywork etc off preparing for the frame change.

Changing the frame. I only changed the frame as I had bought the bike accident damaged and with the damage to forks and yokes didn't want to risk the frame.

All back together and a trial fit of the OW01 fairing.

Once I fired it up again could only get it to run on 2 so a Sunday evening was spent cleaning the carbs in the back garden.

And with a few hours to spare it was ready for it's 1st track outing at Oulton Park.

And Finally a video of the bike in action shot from my brothers ex race CBR600.

Think I need a bit more track time as this was the 1st time out for 6 years but after a few teething problems the bike performed well.

Nice work always fancied having a go on the track but I recon I would end up in A&E every time! And my old bones wouldn't repair so quickly these days I'm sure! :D
