Want to know as I've checked steels and frictions and its still slipping top end, I was running castrol non synthetic stuff! Before I stripped it for new wiescos pistons.
I'm currently running semi synthetic, I too had top end clutch slip & have just fitted genuine friction plates which has cured it, the bite point is now much nearer so indicating that the pkates were thin, one plate was in 3 pieces too.
I have heard using mineral oil minimises clutch slip & oil burn?
