Post by bad2bone13 »

Hello peeps, can anyone tell me if the clutch basket off YZF1000 Thunderace fits the 94 EXUP RU... Just gone to put new friction plates in my old girl & found that the basket is dodgy... so now need to sort the basket out before putting her back together... There is always something else why is nothing ever straight forward!!!! :crybaby:

The YZF750 has a larger number of smaller teeth on the drive gear and won't fit the EXUP or ACE without modification.

Anyone?

If not and i have to buy the inner and outer basket, apart from the clutch plates themselves, is there anything else i need to get to fit it?

Is this a 7 or 9 plate clutch?

Yes that should work ok. I have a thunder ace clutch ready for mine but ive grafted the 750 basket onto it with the reinforcing band, plus I've done the factory pro clutch mod to the inner
