Clutch bearing

Post by Hudders »

Thinking about fitting a new clutch to the RU. When releasing the clutch I can hear a slight rattle as if the release bearing in the clutch needs replacing.

Can anyone tell me which bearing I need to replace? Is it number 4?

It's more likely to be wear in the basket, the radial cushion springs in the rear face wear into the aluminium, causing movement and the Rattle you hear.
