Have you taken the rough surface off the frame first with wet and dry???

Dont need to if you use the correct mops

The ones you need have a grit impregnated grease and hard backing mop. It'll cut through the anodize finish alot easier than wet and dry and its alot quicker

Well that should help Jim a bit.

The lad who had the bike before me did it the hard way. He wrote in the bikes history book after he'd taken it off with wet & dry.... NEVER AGAIN!!!

A very easy way to get anodising off is with a caustic soda solution (cheap stuff from B&Q) tho my frame was painted not anodised
