he says he has some tasty trick bits he's been putting away for the right

bike like ohlins forks brembo monoblock calipers and Marchesini wheels

cant wait to see it with that on it

Sorry to be so blunt, but it is only a bike, the bigger issue is your wife's attitude towards yourself and your interest.
This might just be the tip of the ice burg in your relationship, be careful Paul!!

Quite true Gord;however some get very attached to machinery that they have modified and improved way and above factory specifications.
As a comparison ;Family men may take great pride in raising a youngster,educating to gain a top salary and lifestyle and so forth.
Others may spend vast amounts on other things;
It is a personality thing .(I'm afraid I am in the very first catagory and hate to sell owt, having spent two fortunes.)


On another note;that light you put up ;Im pretty sure will fit Fzr 100R-Ive got complete assy on one of mine,but see its up elsewhere now = good luck.

just got together some photos of the bike in its different stages of life

is a shame someone doesnt recognise the regie and give us some history
of it prior to me discovering it back in 2001

when i first bought it from a bike shop in bradford ( it mainly sold track bikes ) and cant remember where or what the name of the shop was
all i can remember was the shop/unit was in an industrial road and had a small carpark out front of the unit

while hunting in the garage i found some old mags
and found the origional add

It's a very nice bike, but I don't think he's going to get that kind of money for it.
I would think he would have got his price if it had Yamaha plastics and all the road going equipment.
It is essentially just a very clean track bike with a daytime MOT.
