Apart from it not being on the rear of the vehicle, only half visible and not the legal size you would get away with it except for black and silver plates are only legal on vehicles registered before 1973.

I do have a back up plan, as in fitting a temporary one on just for when I'm riding it. Although still not 100% legal it should pacifiy Mr Plod (I hope).

I followed a Hardley Drivil the other day that had seriously loud slash cut pipes and a black and white plate smaller than that. The copper in the inside lane didn't seem to mind.

I do have a semi legal plate that I will clip on just for using it on the road. I would use a fully legal one but the thing would act like a sail it's that big.

Started it up today for the first time. Started OK but it is not ruuning very well on no.1, the header pipe is warm but not as hot as the others.
I will wait until I get the tank si I can run it a bit longer and see if it clears.
The only other thing is my exhaust idea is a bit of a fail as it is wayyyy tooooo loud.

The bike looks very well but I must agree with you that is certainly an earful of exhaust. Mr plod is going to love you allright.
