well i spent a few hours tinkering in the garage, and got the new dials
wired in, now i am not the best sparks in the world and my knowlage is limited, but the instructions were simple to follow and more importantly they had pictures lol

now we all like trick flashy shiney things and these are the trickest flashiest bit of kit i've bought so far

Andy Moreland on the Gixer & Paul Maitland on the R1 (he went to Assen WSB with us one year).

The pic was taken at Chimes garage on the A21 just south of Bromley. Can't remember which year though.

i think it was the summer of 2003 cos i moved to scotland in march 2004

well after much sorting out and putting away in the garage
i finally started on the luggage carrier

firstly i took off the single seat unit and put on my old spare
so not to scratch the paintwork while offering up bits n bobs

the problem i have is just that... the single seat unit and how to put luggage
on without damaging the paint.

so.... while clearing up i found a yzf 750 grab rail, then out came the grinder
and i took off the luggs that attach under the passenger seat like this

then i used some of the left over alluminium bar i had from making
my ow01 fairing stays

and made some rough shapes like this

bolting it onto the subframe just under where the rear footrests should be

I found an old ally travel ironing board that looked like it would do the trick so i offered that up and its getting there

remembering i need to put a tailpack on it as well as a tent n sleeping bag this could be the way to go

not to mention if i did some washing i can iron my clothes on the campsite
i'm a bloody genius
