Has anybody suggested you set up a streaming webcam in your garage so we can all be kept up-to-date on progress, including your good lady.......no complaints there then about being a garage widow as she can chart your progress?
:D

Should I get my coat?

because my garage is a bit cramped i rolled it out to take some pics
its always nice to see a bike you once owned being resored
thats why i followed rf9riders thread so closely
i hope he's pleased with how its turning out as i was chuffed to bits with
the work he did
my old friend ben hill from dartford in kent owned a zxr 400 at the same time i had this bike in boost colours,
we decided to give each others bikes nicknames
i called his 'biscuit'
he called mine 'cuthbert'
so ben if your following this thread 'cuthbert' is back and on the home stretch to being finished

Those Brembo brackets are perfect for it.

A daft question from me :retard: Doesn't anybody make a length of pipe for that job then???
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

brake pipe

Post by creedxup »

yzfpaul wrote:what about these  creed/fang

i didnt want to use them cos i cant find a pipe long enough
to connect them to the master cylinder
When I upgraded my RU clutch master to the YZF750 one, I had the same problem and ended up using a piece of the pipe that goes from the rear brake master to the reservoir as it has to be brake pipe and that piece is the correct internal diameter.

Although i don`t post a lot on here now i`ve got the Tiger, i do still log in regularly, and been following this one closely!
Coming on great Paul, sometimes wish i hadn`t sold it after seeing what happened to it between us owning it.
Very impressed, can`t wait to see it finished and back on the road.

I've just been catching up on your progress Paully...hope that Dani dosn't mind you being in the shed, 'cos as soon as the babies born you'll be up to your eyeballs with dirty nappies. Still...not as if you're a first time Dad. By the way, I have two bricks in the shed for when you come down to Kent next time. The others can hold you down while Ben can apply the bricks around your danglies...but only after you've had a few beers 'cos when he brings them bricks together your eyes are going to water a bit...

I think that I have a photo of your YZF & Ben's ZXR at Dover before we got on the ferry for Assen all those years ago...i'll have to have a look on my other hard drive & post it up.

As for the story about the Honda Benley on the Mayday Run...all that way on a bike that size must have made your eyes water. Thank goodness the Carlisle sold decent beer...
