i have decided to go with it 'as is'
it will be totally bespoke even the alterations i've done to the OW01 part of the fairing like :-
filling in the gap between the headlights and drilling holes in the front like the old 1993 fireblade
all these alterations could never be copied
and as for it being well made i owe the finish to

fibreglass fabrications ltd in Paisley

and while were on the subject of a thankyou

i would personally like to thank Creed & Nasty for posting bits n bobs out for FREE
Chamelion Powdercoating in Renfrew for their brill work
my uncle Ken who is 73 this year and a brilliant metalworker real old school
he made my spacers and chain adjuster out of a rough block of ally
YAMAEXUP (my old friend from back home) for lending me some parts
and his wealth of knowladge
and pretty much everyone else who has guided me along the rebuild

and the Oscar goes to.........

What material bud, how much weight will it need to take?

I have some L shaped ally that something could be knocked up from just cut one side off afterwards,

30mm wide 2mm thick
pic is an offcut for referance

Could always cut a strip off to the width required, ignore wobbly line  and drill that.
thickness should be ok to support reservoir.

Couldn't she bring a chair in to the garage and keep you company? She could do a bit of polishing if she got bored. It works both ways you know. :D
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Lovely little Brembo bracket for the back brake reservoir and a bit of bent aluminium for the front that you'll be looking at every time you get on the bike ?? :paranoid:
