Will the baby be born at around the same time as the bike's ready for the road?

the bike should be ready for end of march ish
baby comes middle of may
i'll prob ride down in the summer so we can go for a blast

ow01 / yzf 750 fairing step by step

here you can see the pink ow01 fairing and the yellow/blue bottom of the yzf 750 side pannel still bolted to the bellypan

here you can see a white donnor top part of a yzf 750 pannel to make the shape

this is the nose cone gently fibred into place and the basic shape is formed

this is the nose cone shaped and finished notice the yzf 750 mount points have been kept origional
and how smoothly the yzf bottom vent lines up with the ow01 large vent
this is pure luck and just shows how close they are on design

That looks stunning and you can now see the amount of work thats gone into it to get it to this stage

...so you'll be making moulds then

i hope not because my workshop coming down in march

due to building work for my dad[to give ]him some ware to sleep and not in my living room

i know this might sound selfish but i dont think i could make moulds
even if i knew how i just couldnt be parked next to another bike knowing
they got their fairing off the shelf for a few hundred quid and mine took
5 months and lots of temper tantrums besides it wouldnt be a one off special

once the top fairing stay is made keith (at the weekend i hope ) it will be coming down for you to work your magic

once its painted should i put fresh heat shields on the inside of the fairing ?
if so does anyone know where i would get them from
or is there an aftermarket square sheet i can buy and cut to shape

this front fairing stay is killing my enthusiasm

i cant send keith the nose cone for painting until the stay is made

and i just cant get my head around how to do it

am almost ready to pick my ball up and go home

and put it on ebay as an unfinished project

ok i have finished the clock stay and is all good

and the hoover pipes are in almost where i want them

i used rubber hose re enforced with metal rings

then filled the inside with expanding foam to give it a more solid shape

i'm going to try some small ally box section for the mirror stay so will

stop in at B&Q tonight it might be a bit frankenstein-ish but its a start

and my ball is back in play

well its all steam ahead in camp project FZRsp
i have got some 10mm ally tube and 12mm box section a pipe bender and
a brain wave

will post up some pics later

with luck i will box up all the bodywork ready to ship to 'nasy' verry soon
