I bought a Lambretta 125 in the early seventies. I only had it for 2 weeks and I came off the bloody thing twice in 1 week. Thought to myself can't be doing with this, because I was losing the only bit of street cred I had at the time so I sold it on and went back to bikes. Nothing against scooter riders though. I usually wave or give them the nod when I see them on the road.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
